When the daughter of a respected cop is shot by sniper during her wedding, the team is called. It seems like 2 years ago, she asked them to help her when her boyfriend harassed her after she broke up with him. And the father blames them for not putting her boyfriend away. When Jack learns about the man's psyche, he doesn't think it was him, because whoever did it was meticulous and he isn't. Beth brings him in and when questioned, they agree it wasn't him. They later learn that another person was shot with the same gun that was used to kill the girl. And when they learn that the victim has no connection to the girl or her boyfriend, they're baffled, till they learn that he has a connection to the father.
