In the remains of the car G and Sam find white phosphorus and the trigger of the bomb; Nell learns that an entire shipment of white phosphorus has disappeared in transit; Kensi tows Hetty's Shelby Cobra to a racetrack; G and Sam check out Tom's pad; Deeks sniffs around while Kensi drives a lap in the Cobra; G and Sam meet one of Tom's researchers, whose wife and son the bad guys have kidnapped for an evil ransom; Eric finds an outside investor, who's also a new suspect; G, Sam, and his Challenger catch the new man; Eric says that the bomber is still at large; G and Sam figure it out, then the foursome intercept the bomber; eventually Kensi and Deeks go to dinner. The LAPD has reported that one or more people have abducted Reinhardt, an immigrant man from Germany; Hetty, on Granger's order, sends G to Camp Pendleton; she then sends Sam and Granger to check out the crime scene while Kensi and Deeks work with Eric and Nell; G, smelling something, furtively tails Sam and Granger to the house, where he barges in and finds a written message addressed to him; against Hetty's objections G continues to sniff around, and he finds pictures of himself through the years; Eric figures out the who, and G says that he knows the why; G disappears and visits Arkady; the two of them then deal with a minor problem; G leaves Arkady, and Kensi and Deeks take him to the boatshed; Arkady tells Hetty that he knows Reinhardt; G arranges a meet, which goes awry; Sam and Granger become involved, and Kensi and Deeks arrive and turn it around; Hetty and Arkady tell G the rest of the story, then G at his pad watches an old home flick. G and Sam visit the Vasile home, meet the wife and the lawyer, and discover a secret stash of files and weapons; G and Sam see Zevlos, but he gets away again; Hetty reports that the SecNav has ordered the NCIS to disengage; G, Sam, and Deeks ride an aircraft with a CIA guy, who reveals some history; the threesome find and seize Zevlos and Carla; Hetty confronts G and Sam about their disobedience. Sam and Keeks put on a show for a rug dealer, then grab his son, and take him to the shed; Deeks goes undercover with a new temporary partner; Kensi and Granger enter a hospital and find supplies; the gang in LA learn of the possibility of an imminent terrorist attack there; G, Sam, Deeks, and the temp set into motion and thwart a major tragedy, then the tempo takes an oath. While checking the site, G and Sam find a clue, for which Eric finds a connection, who gives a lead, which G and Sam pursue; Kensi, in Afghanistan, smells a mouse; Eric and Nell go flying while Deeks and Granger head into the field, where they catch an intruder; Nell does some nice work on a psycho; Eric and Nell stay in touch with Kensi; the team find the pieces of the puzzle and make sense of them, and the bad guy goes for a plea bargain. At the consulate of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea in Los Angeles, a man kills the envoy and two security men; Eric identifies the assassin, wearing a distinctive tattoo, as Santos, suspected of several contract executions; the bad guy behind the deaths appears to be Tuhon, with whom G, Sam, and Hetty share a history; Hetty calls in Getz, and she sends G and Sam to Mexico City, where they see old friends (including Tuhon), attend a party, pick up a lead, and take part in a rumble; Deeks and Getz visit the consulate and later nab the killer; Kensi and Sabatino take a ride in Afghanistan, then things turn sour; Santos's physician moves him from a hospital to a private waterfront facility, where Santos talks; G and Sam take Tuhon back to LA and to a safe house, which is unsafe, but it becomes safe again. The team figure it out. Hetty and Tuhon have a good reunion, then he leaves; Getz also leaves. Both Granger and Sabatino insist to Kensi that Sabatino is not the White Ghost. Written by DocRushing

Another worker identifies herself as Talia, an undercover agent of the DEA; she provides information and loses consciousness; the guys help; Deeks and Talia chat at the shed; while riding horses, Kensi and Granger find a crashed chopper; Eric finds a lead, so G and Sam chase it and find an Ecuadorean who speaks no Spanish, who, Eric says, is really Yemeni; Kensi takes a shot but misses; the gang look for trucks for servicing septic tanks, and they find one; after putting together all the pieces, they also learn about a special event aboard a museum battleship, USS Iowa (BB-61), moored in San Pedro, and they go there, where they wind up some business with the bad guys; Deeks expects six more weeks of winter. Eric says that the setting of the video clip is a garage somewhere in Little Tokyo; Deeks talks with Clark's boss and another agent, Bower; G and Sam find Clark's body and a clue, and they grab a runner, who shares; Kensi leaves the base in Afghanistan and rides into trouble; Sam gets a ride to some relaxation at a club, and Deeks finds a body; Sam has good luck and bad luck, then he meets a new friend; G and Deeks meet Bower, Deeks creates a diversion, and G, Deeks, and Bower join Sam on the inside; G and Sam find a leak and take care of it; the team find all the threads and bring them together; Kensi asks to see the White Ghost, but she meets only silence. G and Sam meet Ira, who resists questioning at the shed, but Nell lends her touch; Nell says that Ira found and exploited a weakness in the Russian GPS system, which, in the event of a war, would allow a hacker to divert or redirect Russian missiles; G tells that Ira did his work for a private firm, to which Ira has sent his work product; G, Sam, and Deeks visit the firm; Eric finds the bad guy, so the gang pursue him and a flash drive; they find the man but lose the drive, now in the hands of other bad guys; Nell says that Chechnyan separatists are behind the activity; Eric and Ira cooperate on a roof, and everything works out; Granger contacts Hetty about Kensi. Upon arrival at Camp Chapman the three musketeers meet a curious welcome, then they head into the boondocks, where they meet Granger; Sam leaves Deeks at a house in a village, then the others proceed; Eric and Nell watch a video clip from Kensi via e-mail by sat phone; Kensi mentions Jack Simon. Eric and Nell learn some of Jack's background, then Hetty fills in, and she explains Kensi's presence in Afghanistan. Granger and the others enter a rat's nest and make discoveries; back on the outside they find Sabatino; the gang find the bad guys, and G offers a deal, which turns sour; Deeks spends much time with a cleric, who refuses to talk, but Deeks brokers another deal, which a chopper delivers; an exchange takes place, then the gang from Los Angeles prepare to go back home. Two foreign thugs approach a discharged Marine, Davis, and demand money, but he kills one, and the other escapes; Davis has also served in Iraq as a private security contractor; he has more recently finished a prison sentence for his embezzlement of funds intended for the reconstruction of Iraq; Nell says that the thugs were Al-Qaeda sympathizers; Davis's former business partner, Stanfill, is now a successful business in Los Angeles. Hetty assigns Kensi to work temporarily with Eric while Nell goes with Deeks into the field. Deeks and Nell visit Stanfill, who withholds cooperation; Nell finds inconsistencies, and Eric finds a contradiction, so G and Sam go to Stanfill's pad and then find his body and a cache of cash; the foursome make another house call and get two surprises; Eric gets a lead on a jukebox joint, so G and Sam check it out; the pieces fall into place, the gang set a trap, and the bad guys trip it. Kensi and Deeks join Hetty and Granger while the latter debrief Paul at the shed; G and Sam check out Tyler's estate and find a body inside the house; Kensi figures out one part of Paul; she and Deeks chat with each other; Sam negotiates a deal, so G and Tyler meet each other while Kensi and Deeks watch; Paul gives Hetty an explanation and a safe word, which backfires; the action starts, and the team ends on top; Granger tells Paul that the third heart is that of a traitor; Hetty cuts the strings of a puppet. The escape van yields two clues; Kensi and Deeks check out a trailer, which explodes; the gang find some evidence; Sam suspects a connection between the theft and the absent daughter; Eric finds a video clip; Deeks shines shoes, and G and Sam talk with a driver; Kensi and Deeks shadow Jess, but she ditches them after she sees a message; after a diversion Sam experiences a moment of elucidation, then the team goes to another place, where everything works out. During a Marine-sponsored charity-benefit volleyball tournament at Venice Beach, a car bomb explodes, killing two and injuring 29; promptly an aggressive TV reporter, Dana, says on the air that, according to sources, an Iran-based Islamic militant group, the JLF, is responsible for the bomb. One honcho at the DoHS firmly denies that the JLF is responsible; G and Sam lean on Dana, who gives a name; Eric finds another lead; Eric and Nell exchange notes; Kensi and Deeks chat with a man who believes in alien creatures who watch everyone; G and Sam make a productive stop at a car-rental shop; Kensi and Deeks learn some disturbing news; Dana dies, and Sam collars her killer, Bakri Deng, from South Sudan, who first refuses to cooperate; Kensi and Deeks learn about Deng, and Eric and Nell learn even more; G and Sam find the truth and an explanation, then, with Deng's help, they intervene with two other bombs and bombers and neutralize them. The foursome review conflicting evidence, and the Wonder Twins produce clues; G and Sam chase a witness and chat him up; the four, acting on a clue from Eric, make a house call, where they meet a firestorm and return a hand grenade; Kensi and Talia meet each other; at a boatyard G and Sam make a major discovery; at another waterfront facility G and Sam find a distinctive vessel, board it, and get several surprises; the vessel gets underway and starts making way.
